EASTER EGG HUNT AND BALLOON RELEASE, MARCH 23, 2008 Following the Easter brunch, the younger children hunted Easter eggs in the Fellowship Hall. After the egg hunt and challenge, balloons with a Scripture verse or a message of encouragement and the Church name and address, were released from the parking lot.

Our Midweek School of Religion for children in grades 1 through 8 began Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. and closed the 2007/2008 year on March 12th. All children of Christ Lutheran Church are encouraged to participate in this Christian education program when it resumes next fall.

Weaver) Confirmation of the 8th grade students is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2008. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WAS HELD JULY 8 - 12, 2007 The theme was "SonForce Kids". Students became Special Agents of the SonForce Kids, charged with the duties of trusting in God's plans, uniting with God's people, training for God's service, following in God's path and leading others to God's promises. ALL SAINTS' AND PUMPKIN-PAINTING PARTY About 70 members and friends of Christ Lutheran Church gathered for a pizza and pumpkin-painting party (with a haunted house thrown in by the LYF for good measure) on Sunday, October 29, 2006. The theme was "Fiesta" and those attending had an exciting celebration of Jesus' love filled with lively mariachi music, colorful folklorico costumes, spicy chili peppers, and warm friends. EASTER EGG HUNT AND JOIN HANDS DAY PROJECT An Easter egg hunt for children ages 3 through 6th grade was held on April 15, 2006, in conjunction with a Thrivent Join Hands Project of assembling sack lunches for Neighborhood House.
VALENTINE PARTY! The Midweek School time on February 8, 2006 was devoted to making valentines for nursing home residents. Sunday School children 3 years old or older were invited to attend along with their parents and other interested adults. Pizza and drinks were served. EASTER EGG HUNT, MARCH 26TH, 2005 Lots of avid youngsters and their parents/grandparents arrived at Church to hunt the eggs the LYF Easter bunnies had hidden for them. After tracking down all the eggs and having a delicious snack, the children and adults all gathered in the southeast classroom to assemble about 850 sack lunches for Neighborhood House.
